DR RECOVERY CAPABILITY ASSESSMENTS

 A Current State Capability Assessment is usually conducted as part of a BIA  at a high level so that gaps can be identified between BIA requirements and current recovery capabilities. 

This can be a detailed standalone assessment for a specific inventory of applications.  Each application can also be assessed for:

• Is the Recovery Tier appropriate?
• CMDB accuracy
• Testing history/success
• Is the DR environment "like for like" with production
