About Allaire Resiliency

After 20+ years in the BC/DR industry with  Eagle Rock Alliance (ERA) and the last 12 years as its Practice Director, Bob started Allaire Resiliency. Bob started his career as a vertical software delivery manager at a software startup, where he honed his customer relationship skills and developed his mantra "Always give the customer something extra." Next, Bob managed a team of five engineers for a German bank in NYC responsible for IT infrastructure, including the installation of two Disaster Recovery sites.  In the 90's during the early days of corporate email, Bob relocated to the Düsseldorf home office in order to lead the global rollout of Lotus Notes to more than 18 branches. This robust technical foundation allowed Bob to thrive in the resiliency space where he focused on Disaster Recovery,  Business Continuity and Crisis Management. 

Below is a brief summary of Bob's project experience over his Enterprise Resiliency career.   

• Helped several clients launch their BCM program by conducting the initial BIA, and Risk Assessment to develop a Roadmap to Resiliency.  Over 15 BIAs  conducted with clients from financial, insurance, health care and manufacturing industries.
• Led a 3 person team in the build out of a multi-year DR program for an international financial firm with DR testing in US, EMEA, and APAC. 
• In 2003, helped develop a structured BCM program assessment tool which was conducted at over two dozen client sites. This methodology was a precursor to BS25999 and NFPA 1600 and incorporated these standards and the ISO 22301 as they were released.
• Conducted multiple data center assessments with an enhanced infrastructure resiliency model based on industry standards.
• Developed and facilitated multiple Table Top Exercises (TTX)s with scenarios designed to exercise  Cyber and BC response programs.
• Allaire partners with several management consultant firms to scale up for project demands as required.
